The packaging system was designed to elevate the brand from simple pouch-and-sticker labelling into a more distinctive retail-ready identity, using expressive hand-drawn illustrations, soft colour palettes, and a flexible product range system.

Empawraw needed a refreshed packaging direction that could feel fun and premium while still working practically across multiple product lines. The existing packaging relied on a basic pouch with a sticker, so the challenge was to create a stronger visual identity that could stand out on shelf, communicate flavour variation clearly, and remain cost-conscious for production. The client specifically wanted a more elevated look, with room for cute patterns, illustration and a stronger brand direction.

A scalable packaging system was developed to balance personality with commercial clarity. Custom illustrations gave the brand a recognisable visual language, while the pouch designs used clean hierarchy, soft product colours and simple label variations to make each treat range easy to identify. Both direct-to-print packaging and sticker-based applications were explored, giving the brand flexible production options depending on budget and order quantities. This allowed Empawraw to move toward a premium, scalable packaging system while keeping manufacturing practical and accessible.
